Fimbulwinter - Studio License
Fimbulwinter is a personal favorite and is a unique winter-themed waltz written for Early Intermediate to Intermediate students. This piece uses the contrasting rhythms in the hands and close harmonies to sound like a wind-up music box. The name comes from Norse mythology. Fimbulwinter is the everlasting winter that comes after Ragnarok. It is supposed to be harsh blizzards, but this piece asks, what if it began with a few snowflakes?
